Wednsday April 16th, 2008:
Six university students met over franchised coffee cups and newspaper clippings with author Chris Cleave for a creative writing session. Each had been asked to choose a newspaper article that could serve as inspiration for a work of fiction. Cleft lips, Global Warming, Cults and Children cultivated the student’s interest to pursue this project: “Picking the Date” is an original dialogue between young writers and current events of the extreme.
